I have been creating web sites since the early days of the World Wide Web and kept up with modern trends, changes in HTML, CSS and related programming languages. My software has driven the back end of many web sites for all kinds of industries, including completely custom shopping systems, school and college sites, as well as themes and plugins to extend content management systems like WordPress. Highly trained and experienced, Trudie McGuinness is a Fellow of the distinguished Guild of Professional Toastmasters. She brings professionalism and warmth to events nationwide to ensure that they run with absolute ease. This brochure site is built as a simple single page with a classy and professional look, entirely custom designed and hosted by Neil T King.
Petey - Find Your Fit
The brainchild of Sam Sargeant, Petey takes your preferences into consideration and provides a list of personal trainer profiles in your local area, allowing you to pick the right one for you. It also allows personal trainers to subscribe and have their profiles listed for potential clients to find. The system is based on a WordPress backend but with a totally custom theme and completely custom written plugins to manage user accounts, take online payments (via Stripe), search and edit profiles, calculate geographical distances etc. The site is designed, coded and hosted by Neil T King.
Trudie McGuinness - Empowering You to Change Your World
Trudie McGuinness is a coach, mentor, trainer, embodiment facilitator, entrepreneur, political activist and speaker. She has an insatiable appetite for life and learning and is committed to making a positive difference in the world. This website was custom designed, coded and hosted by Neil T King to promote her consultancy, coaching, workshop and embodiment services.
Flo Group
Flo offer an all-in-one solution for recruitment agencies. This comprises of four powerful systems to manage everything from billing, invoicing and payroll, to bookkeeping and funding. This eye-catching website was designed by the 52 Degrees North design agency and built/coded by Neil T King to be attractive and functional, with animation and modern features bringing key information to the visitor.
Safeplace 24
Safeplace 24 is designed to make it easy for anyone to share their location, anywhere in the world. It generates 4 simple words which can be shared to pinpoint the location. Along with the website I created apps for Apple (published on the App Store) and Android (published on Google Play) which will work without an internet connection, which is particularly useful if users are in the middle of nowhere. I designed the algorithm to work quickly and accurately, and it allows the words to be entered in any order to locate the same place. Originally it was designed for education and for safeguarding young people but it has proven useful for anybody.
Staffordshire Providers Network

The Staffordshire Providers Network is a group of 3 Universities, 5 colleges, over 20 Independent Training Providers (ITP's) and Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce forming one of the most diverse education and skills networks in the UK. They believe a strong provider sector is vital for addressing the skills shortage in the area. This modern and easy-to-navigate site is designed to provide details on what the organisation does, information on it's members and provide useful links for the people of Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire who are interested in gaining new or improving their skills.
Badger Group
Badger (Birmingham and District General Practitioner Emergency Room) is a not-for-profit social enterprise healthcare co-operative. They provide a GP Out-of-Hours service as well as running NHS Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs) during the day for minor illnesses. Their innovative drive-through clinical site for minor illnesses is the first of its kind. The website was designed by the 52 Degrees North design agency and built/coded by Neil T King. It provides lots of information about their NHS services, help for patients and also a custom document management system to deliver policies and other documents to partners and members.
The Pottery Cave

The Pottery Cave is a "Paint-a-pot" Studio in Staffordshire offering a fantastic range of Ceramics to paint as well as themed clay workshops, parties for up to 30 people and painting evenings. Their shop is full of ceramic items, take home clay and painting boxes and work for sale by local ceramic artists to suit all tastes. The website is designed to look professional but friendly with lots of information and images.
The Essential Safeguarding Company

The Essential Safeguarding Company provide a wide range of safeguarding training, tailored to the specific needs of their clients. They also offer safeguarding supervision and consultancy services. Their website is designed to provide as much information as possible, in a clear and attractive way, which is easy to understand and navigate. Their system includes a custom portal for clients where they can download personalised files, documents, policies and other materials created just for them, and watch training videos and pre-recorded webinars.
Group Light
As well as programming the backend system to measure and report on the skills of teachers and other staff, this Leadership Reflection Tool website was designed to be easy to use by both administrators and end-users. This website is built with a completely custom theme and many unique, custom written plugins to look after user management, survey collection, analytics and reporting etc.

The Power Of Us help organisations transform their working culture, improving staff moral and help them thrive by capturing the talents and innovation of their people. The team includes David Price OBE, whose best-selling book "The Power Of Us: How We Connect, Act & Innovate Together" is the basis for the agency. I built this website on the WordPress CMS with a completely custom theme and wrote several unique, bespoke plugins to look after subscriptions, user management, survey collection & reporting etc.
Earth Fire Ceramics
Earth Fire ceramics is led by Staffordshire potter Caroline who offers pottery courses, themed workshops and tailored party events teaching and making pottery. As well as designing the logo, I created a completely custom WordPress theme and several bespoke plugins to add features such as the ability to order and take online payments for workshop sessions, gift vouchers and pottery pieces.
52 Degrees North
A graphic design and marketing agency in Tamworth, Staffordshire. For more than a decade, they've delivered expertly crafted design that connect clients with their target audience. They specialise in graphic design, digital design, branding and marketing. For their website I created a completely custom WordPress theme and many bespoke plugins to add the features they needed.
Colleges West Midlands
Colleges West Midlands is a formal strategic partnership of 21 colleges, including all colleges within the West Midlands Combined Authority area. They work together to support skills development across the regions, responding as a single voice to new initiatives and government reforms. I designed, built and hosted their website for them as well as added extra functionality with custom created plugins and features.
Staffordshire Partnership for Employment and Skills

SPES is the culmination of the Staffordshire Providers Association (SPA) and Skills Staffordshire to form a single skills delivery partnership and strong voice in Stoke and Staffordshire working closely with the LEP/Education Trust. It's members include the majority of the Colleges, Universities, Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce and training providers in Staffordshire. I designed their logo and created their custom website for them.
Statistics 24 Limited
Statistics 24 works with Google Apps (G-Suite) allowing users and organisations to run detailed reports on usage. It combines a browser extension with a powerful custom cloud-based reporting system all written from scratch.
Safeguarding 24

Safeguarding 24 allows all of an organisations users, e.g. students and staff, to report any safeguarding concerns they have while they are still online. The system works with both Google G-Suite and Microsoft 365 users and is mostly used by educational establishments. It combines a browser extension with a bespoke reporting system all written from scratch.
Friends of Staffordshire & West Midlands (North Sector) Army Cadet Force Trust

The Staffs Army Cadets Friends are a registered charity that supports The Staffordshire & West Midlands (North Sector) Army Cadet Force. The Army Cadet Force is one of the UK’s oldest, largest and most successful youth organisations. For ease of management the site uses the WordPress CMS but with a completely custom built theme and several custom plugins.
WorldByDesign
WorldByDesign is used to promote my own mobile games and apps. Starting as a hobbyist game programmer around the age of 10 years old, I have experience of writing software for many computer and video game systems, from old 8 bit home computers right up to modern mobile, PC and consoles plus browser based games. The site is based on the WordPress CMS with a completely custom theme and custom plugins.
